Day 4 Morning Meditation

This morning marks day 4 of my plan to have a 15 minute morning meditation session everyday. I already feel a sense of calm over me. It’s so funny how we can read about how good something is for us and never even try it. Meditation is one of those things for me. I’ve tried it a couple of times, but never consistently, yet I’m always finding reads about how great meditation is and how it will change your life. So 4 days ago, I decided to set my alarm clock for 5:45am every morning to get up early to meditate.

During my meditation I am focusing on a mantra: I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy. I say this over and over in my head to the rhythm of my breath. Something so simple seems to make a world of difference. Sure its only been a few days, but I’m thinking of all the possibilities this could bring the longer I stick with it. The confidence I’ll be building, the calmness I’ll be embracing…I’m excited. Now all I have to do is make it a habit!
