What happens when your mind-body connection is severed?
Yoga teacher, Matthew Sanford knows this feeling all too well. At age 13, he was in a horrific car accident that killed his father and sister and left him paralyzed from the waist down.
Matthew instantly recognized the silence between his mind and body connection. After years of philosophical searching he realized he could feel the silent energy that remained although the nerves were damaged. Through yoga he discovered the importance of that silence and now teaches it to his students to help them with their yoga practice.
Matthew shares his extraordinary experience in his biographical book Waking.
